Skyscribe: RPG Weather, by Wirthwhile Apps. Effective October 22, 2026.

These terms cover your use of Skyscribe: the app on Google Play, the web app at app.skyscriberpg.com, and this website. By using Skyscribe you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

What Skyscribe is

Skyscribe generates fictional weather, descriptions and suggestions for tabletop role-playing games. Everything it produces is for entertainment and storytelling. It is not a weather forecast, and nothing in it should be relied on for real-world travel, safety or planning.

Your use of Skyscribe

You may use Skyscribe for your own games, including games you run for others and games you stream or record. You may read its descriptions aloud, quote them, and use its weather in your own campaign notes and published adventures. Please don't copy, resell or redistribute the app itself, its code or its art, or try to get around The Almanac's purchase.

The Almanac

Skyscribe is free to use. The Almanac is an optional one-time purchase that unlocks more features. On Android, it is sold through Google Play under Google's terms. On the web, it is sold through Paddle, which acts as the seller (the merchant of record) and handles payment and sales tax under Paddle's own terms. A purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use The Almanac's features for as long as Skyscribe is offered. See our refund policy for refunds.

Accounts

You don't need an account to use Skyscribe. If you choose to sign in with Google to sync your campaigns and purchase between devices, you're responsible for your Google account, and you can delete your Skyscribe account at any time from the app's settings or by contacting us.

Changes and availability

We work to keep Skyscribe running well, but it is provided as it is, without guarantees that it will always be available or free of mistakes. We may change, add or remove features over time. If we ever stop offering Skyscribe, we'll give as much notice as we reasonably can.

Limits of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Wirthwhile Apps is not liable for indirect or incidental losses arising from your use of Skyscribe, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for The Almanac. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. Continuing to use Skyscribe after that means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States.
